Near the end of the 2007 season Mets fans witnessed the worst collapse in baseball history. It was around this time where a bunch of die hard Mets fans and myself considered ourselves Mets Hams and we’d constantly be complaining about Willie’s management, Delgado’s lack of hitting and our bullpen’s inability to save games. Now enter the Real Mets Ham blog…. Begining with the 2008 season myself and a few of the other self proclaimed Mets Hams will highlight the lighter side of the Mets as well as take stabs at the Mets who aren’t earning their keep. This will also be a place where disgruntled and frustrated Mets Hams can congregate and vent their emotions and be Real Mets Hams!!! And remember, only a Real Mets Fan can be a Real Mets Ham….
